Propos
« POINT JANUS is a 50-minute piece for four performers. The choreography is built on the principle of inversion, a visual effect derived from video editing. It is a piece told in reverse—eniaropmetnoc dance—that questions the notion of no return and the futile desire to turn back the clock. The piece thus begins with the end: an irreversible act, a collapse with no way out. The consequence leads to the action; the trace precedes the movement. Traveling from death toward love, the performers reconstruct everyday gestures and objects, thereby revealing—through this inverted narrative—the motivations behind their actions. The piece culminates in an origin laden with its future, prompting the audience to reflect on the multiplicity of the future. »
