Lieu NEUFNEUF is a space dedicated to contemporary dance and the performing arts.
Designed as a place for creation, encounters and cultural experiences, Lieu NEUFNEUF supports and hosts artists in residence. In partnership with local organisations, it presents a programme of performances during the NEUFNEUF Festival and throughout the year. A vibrant, committed and open space dedicated to emerging artists, where audiences and professionals come together.
A New Chapter for Contemporary Creation
The Lieu NEUFNEUF is an integral part of the cultural landscape of Toulouse and the western region of Occitanie. Although it is dedicated to dance, it is open to the performing arts in all their forms: music, theater, performance, and visual arts. In addition to an annual program of approximately 40 performances, Lieu NEUFNEUF organizes several major events. Each year, the NEUFNEUF Festival is the highlight of the season. The venue also hosts other types of evening events conceived and organized by Lieu NEUFNEUF.
A place dedicated to movement
Located in the Sept Deniers neighborhood of Toulouse, the venue features two single-story halls: a large 300 m² hall that can accommodate about 100 people in tiered seating, and a smaller 130 m² hall that can accommodate about 50 people.
Adjacent to this building, “the house” houses a convivial space consisting of a bar with direct access to the terrace, a ticket office, an artists’ dressing room, and several restrooms. The team’s offices are also located on the upper floor of this house, thus bringing together workspaces, reception areas, and artistic activity under one roof.
