Parcours

Émilie Labedan

Émilie Labédan is a dancer and, since 2013, a choreographer with La Canine. A few years ago, she trained at the CDCN in Toulouse. Her work is fueled by an interest in everything related to memory. She uses spaces and bodies to create magnetic and unsettling tensions in which dance and places are permeated by complex emotions. She works with the ever-changing nature of the body and questions what remains of its journeys.
Since 2016, she has been performing with the company K622—Mié Coquempot (PH / Z’ANIMA / AN H TO M) and with the company J’y Pense Souvent—Vincent Dupont (DDD / 5 APPARITIONS)
She has appeared in numerous short films as part of her studies at the École Supérieure d’Audiovisuel de Toulouse, honing her skills as an actress and developing a keen interest in film production and direction. Her approach to directing is shaped by her own vision and working methods. She holds a state-certified degree in contemporary dance and is certified in AFCMD (Functional Analysis of the Body in Dance Movement), a training program founded by Odile Rouquet and Hubert Godard. She is also actively involved in education and works with diverse audiences across various organizations.
