This year, the NEUFNEUF Festival is offering masterclasses with choreographers featured in the programme, aimed primarily at professional dancer-performers from the region.
This session will begin like a morning routine, leading into a period of research around AmieAmi's work.
The warm-up will respond to the body's needs on the day, based on sequences drawn from daoyin yangsheng gong (a Chinese martial art). We will then let ourselves be carried by the movement as it emerges, continuing with explorations in pairs, working with adaptation, responsiveness and openness to the other.

Steven HERVOUET
Originally from Nantes, Steven joined the Conservatoire National de Musique et de Danse de Paris in 2008. He performed in pieces by Olivier Dubois (Tragédie, Auguri and Tropismes) and Cécile Loyer (Histoires vraies, T.A.C, Kartographie(s), Villes de papier). He took part in the creative processes of Jean-Christophe Boclé (Coltrane Formes), Thomas Chopin (Le charme de l'émeute) and Thierry Micouin (Synapse, Jour Futur). More recently, he joined Compagnie Danse Louis Barreau (Le Sacre du Printemps) and Compagnie Lionel Bègue (Cabane). He has also collaborated with Arthur Perole (Stimmlos, Scarlett, Rock'n Chair), La Presque Compagnie (Oubli Total) and Yoann Hourcade (Supernova). Since 2020, he has been developing his own artistic practice, having founded Compagnie AmieAmi with Pauline Bigot.
