« Litolène captures the encounter between Louison Valette and Itziar Viloria through the experience of traces and imprints. The two artists met during a two-week cross-residency. Together, they developed a creative process that mirrored this encounter—one made up of experimentation, exchanges, and drawings. Louison and Itziar use both physical and non-physical materials to craft the journey of these dialogues, leaving a trace behind each experiment. Litolène is this collection of traces, imprints, memories, and sketches.
