« Calentamiento is a slow combustion.
Sweat, breath, celebration, absence, love, and above all, peace: peace in realizing that fatigue can be a state of pleasure.
And that, when my body catches fire, a powerful, earth-bound force rises from the darkness of my body and the ground, anchoring me to the earth with all its might so that I can take flight. »
