In partnership with La Place de la Danse and the Extensions training programme, on the occasion of the performance of CO.M.BAT at Théâtre Garonne on 23 and 24 November 2023
At the end of certain workshops, dancers from the Extensions training programme, participants in Keep On Dancing, and guest artists open the doors of the Studio and invite you to share in their work in progress.
It's a chance to talk with them, to discover what goes on inside a dance studio, and how a dancer is trained.
Building on the choreographic laboratory Géographie Posturale, the dancers will present this work exploring bodily memory, kinesthesia, and the development of a gestural dramaturgy.

Dance at La Cinémathèque with I-Fang Lin
I-Fang Lin will present the film of her choice: The Assassin by Hou Hsiao-Hsien, on 7 November at La Cinémathèque de Toulouse.

I-Fang Lin
I-Fang Lin, Taiwanese choreographer, dancer and performer.
Her career as a choreographer and performer has crossed paths with those of Mathilde Monnier, Christian Rizzo, François Verret, Emmanuelle Huynh, Pierre Droulers, Philippe Katerine, Jocelyn Cottencin, Louis Sclavis, Fabrice Ramalingom, Kosei Yamamoto, Xavier Le Roy, Boris Charmatz, and others. Her choreographic work fuses somatic practice (the Feldenkrais method), martial arts (Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Neigong) and dance.
She founded Studio MAIASTRA, and created En Chinoiseries (2016) and Skein Relations (2019) as artist-in-residence at NTCH in Taiwan, and Au large (2021) as an associate artist with Scènes Croisées de Lozère. She also created Ébloui (2021–2022), co-written with visual artist Jocelyn Cottencin, along with CO.M.BAT (2023) and Ban-Ping Shan (2023).
