« 100% polyester: an endless dance, a dialogue through movement”. In 1999, Christian Rizzo designed a double costume intended for a choreographer. However, despite being conceived as a true invitation to movement, it was ultimately not selected. This state of inertia—the idea of it being stored away in a box—became the starting point for a reflection: what would a costume be like if it were not limited to the body, but could exist independently from it? This exploration of the costume as a vehicle for dance marked the beginning of an unprecedented artistic journey. »
